Aqua Finance is an independent, licensed finance company principally engaged in the origination, acquisition, and servicing of direct consumer loans and credit lines. The vast majority of these consumer loans support the purchase of residential water treatment products sold to consumers by established names including Culligan International, EcoWater Systems, RainSoft, and a host of other manufacturers. A contracting bank debt market, coupled with the significant downturn in the residential housing market, resulted in considerable obstacles for Aqua Finance. PPC was engaged to advise Aqua Finance through this challenging period, including the sale of certain assets and the negotiation of a debt refinancing & recapitalization involving multiple lenders and shareholders.
